We are looking for an enthusiastic Scala Developer to work on our mobile APM product. As a monitoring tool for millions of devices, it provides an exciting challenge of building analytics at scale. 

You will be working in a team of experienced engineers, building time-series processing and analytics services. You should have experience building highly scalable and robust server applications. As well as, be confident working within a team and making architectural design suggestions.

The role is primarily based in central London, but we do offer flexible working hours and location. You will be working in a dynamic, self-governing team of smart engineers, all focused on building high-quality reliable software.


We’d love to hear from you, if you have:

  • Strong Scala experience, a minimum of 3 years
  • Working knowledge of Kafka and Spark
  • Good knowledge of distributed systems design patterns
  • Experience working on high-scale software deployments
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information
  • A passion for solving complex problems in the simplest possible manner
  • Permission to work in the EU

    Big plus if you have experience in:

    • Experience working with GCP, AWS or similar cloud solutions and services
    • An understanding of the type-level ecosystem: cats, cats-effect, fs2, http4s
    • Experience with time-series data
    • An understanding of JVM performance tuning
    • Expertise in profiling production Java/Scala systems
