The Enterprise Build Platform is offered as a virtual private environment, and is designed to suit the needs of organisations with specific requirements for performance, resources, or security and control.
Our other plans run on our multi-tenant cloud environment, where resources are shared among the user-base.
On our Org plans, smaller teams can quickly get started running a limited amount of processes in parallel, with the option of upgrading their plans for increased performance or additional simultaneous processes.
On Velocity, bigger teams find our full suit of features and functionality, designed to help them manage complex mobile engineering processes. Concurrent processes have very little limitation, while teams can pick from a range of different compute options for each of their workflows.

One concurrency = one build at a time
This means that if you trigger 5 builds simultaneously while you only have a single concurrency available, you’ll have to wait for each one to finish before the next one can start. However, if you have 5 concurrencies, the builds will run in parallel. On Org plans, concurrencies are limited to 8. If you need more, “Talk to us” about the Velocity plan.
The Build timeout is the maximum amount of time a workflow is able to run. When your build hits the build timeout limitation, your build will be stopped. On Org Standard your build times out at 45 minutes, while on Org Elite it can run up to 90 minutes. On Velocity and the Enterprise Build Platform, build duration is flexible, up to a maximum of 4 hours.
Linux (Ubuntu) Virtual Machines
macOS Virtual Machines
Generally speaking, faster compute options lead to shorter build times. On Org Standard, Org Elite and the Enterprise Build Platform, your build machine type is dictated by your plan. On Velocity, you can pick from all available build machines or compute options for individual workflows.
All Bitrise accounts come with community support: ask questions and answer fellow developers' on our Discuss page or Slack channel. In addition to this, ticket-based email support is available for 2 weeks during Trial and later for our paid plans only.
